Thanks for joining, Eris. I think that you'll find a collaborative community, great information resources and focused advocacy by Amri, and connect with others who are equally committed to reducing disparities and promoting diversity in achieving healthier lives and communities. I am glad that you're now on board!

Profile Information

About Me, My Profession and/or My Company:
Hola! that's one thing about me - I'm always throwing out some Spanish because I'm on a life long quest to master that language. Otherwise, my "summary" is that I'm a social worker, LCSW, at a non-profit behavioral health care agency in Portland, OR. My current position is "cultural consultant". I find it an important job in my agency's context but I'm always looking to learn more in order to refine and/or expand the position's purpose.

How can Diversity HealthWorks help you achieve your personal and/or professional goals?
I have worked in the community mental health field for about three years now. I am encouraged by this networking site and your mission as I have witnessed disheartening treatment due to cultural incompetence.

My personal and professional goals are ever changing but I'm sure I can learn more and find support using this site.
How did you first hear about us?
